NPK analysis: 12-2-0
Hoof and Horn supplies high levels of nitrogen. Its slow availability promotes less leaf burn damage. Good as a base dressing for greedy crops like brassicas, corn, tomatoes, lettuce and courgettes, gradually releasing its nitrogen over the season (meaning less chance of leaching). The low phosphorus aids root development. Nutrient availability starts at around 4-6 weeks and can last 12 months. Encourages green leaf, root growth and improves soil structure. Can also be used on overwintered greens and as a compost decomposition activator.
For best results:
Can be mixed with potting medium and applied into planting hole or applied directly around the base of any vegetable (not around soft fruit).
Application rates:
Apply at 100g per sq m at start of season and 30g per sq m when transplanting vegetables.
Keep off leaves and stems.
When adding to garden as a nitrogen source, always blend into soil.
